Tennis - Tennis pros

André Chesnay
After having been classified among Canada’s best junior players, André received a tennis grant for Mississippi State University in 1975. From 1977 to 1988, he was co-director of the Val des Arbres tennis school in Laval. Member of the Teaching Commission, he was named coach of the Quebec team for two consecutive years. In 1989, during a one-year stay in Guinea, West Africa, he established tennis teaching programs. From 1990 to 2002, he was marketing director for the Canadian division of the Prince, manufacturer of sports equipment and tennis racquets. In 2002, he acquired the Interclub of the Laurentides.

Jean Dubrule
A tennis devotee since 1975 after being ranked 11th in Québec in the open class…which in turn won him a bursary to Ferris Stade University, Jean Dubrule was the first to graduate with a B.A. in Professional Tennis Management, while participating at the same time in N.C.A.A. competitions. He is still actively competing, in the veteran class. He has been teaching tennis since 1979, and has been the director of the Rockland Sport and Tennis Club and of the Monkland Tennis Centre.

Garry Lindner
Artistic, curious and athletic, Garry is a multi-talented person as impressive in music, martial arts and skiing as he is in tennis. Very few people offer as many aptitudes and interests. He’s a jack of all trades and master of many…and knows how to share his gifts! Garry was a tennis instructor in Val-David and at the Lac Marois tennis club before joining the Interclub of the Laurentides team in 2003. He is a Level 1 certified tennis instructor by Tennis Canada.
